Good movie

On Facebook last week a mom friend shared a video of another mom who thought her daughter was listening to peppa pig "daddy finger" and it was an animated Mickey Mouse style of the mouse family shooting each other in the head and cartoon blood, all while singing daddy finger so as parents you think your kid is just watching something innocent and thats on there. It was reported by a thousand mamas and as of today its still on YouTube kids. Not cool YouTube, NOT cool. You need to go through and filter EVERY THING Again.

I really like the timer. I would love it if I could block some videos. It would also be great to be able to get more specific about what I want to block such as all Halloween videos.

I loved this app when it first came out. I could leave my daughter in her room as she played with it. But in the past few months, I have noticed that the videos are getting dark. Usually harmless characters (Mickey, Elsa, Anna) are now killing each other. They had the Joker on one cartoon breaking into a house and putting traps all over it. There needs to be someone monitoring these apps. Or a screening process. Or there needs to be a way that parents can restrict what videos their kids watch (more strict than just a playlist). When the app is back to being kid friendly, I will happily download again and change my rating from a 1 star to something higher.

I would prefer YT provide the ability to play a playlist in regular YT and provide limited controls for kids. I tried to find my kids favorite video Poppins Spoon Full of Sugar but all I found were audios, foreign language, and low budget plays. However, if you like to encourage ADHD get your kid a soda and let them play with this app; lots of sounds, random colors, and learning videos that utilize over stimulation to keep attention. Do your kid a favor and dont use this app to pacify them.

It needs the ability to block videos. And they need to filter the videos better some of the content is inappropriate for children. Im disappointed in youtube

The app is great for filtered kids videos. However, unlike the regular YouTube app you cannot limit HD video to WiFi only. This app uses quite a lot of data while attempting to stream HD all of the time. Please add the limit HD to WiFi only feature to this app as well.

My kids love this app! I havent found anything inappropriate on it so far! Keep up the good work!

My daughter enjoys this app! She starts to get comfy in the chair while I choose the video for her, I like how after one video there comes another video next.

Great kid app. Only thing I would change is when I put on a cartoon to watch, I wish my two ur old couldnt just touch it to click out of it onto another video. I hope they put a choice to lock it once the video starts.

This app is great for my two sons! They love listening to songs and music! They also like watching minecraft! The bad part is they can access parental controls

Good app, I got it for my little cousins and so far they like it, but please remove "rainbow road". Its a creepypasta and scared them so much. I know you cant remove every flagged video, but this is far worse then some aldults playing with toys that others complained about.

Why are there so many reviews that describe the fatal flaws of this app and then go on to give it four or five stars? Do not pay attention to the average star ratings. Read the reviews. This app is not okay for children. There is very little of quality on here. I got it so we could watch movies that we cant find elsewhere. Three year old starts clicking recommendations and suddenly were watching creepy things. There is NO DOUBT that parents SHOULD be able to make a playlist of safe, previously reviewed videos for their child to watch without them having access to any others. Im sure YouTube hasnt done this because of advertising or licensing or some fiscal concern. Do not even try it. Your child will be addicted to it before you realize how awful it is, and then youll have a whole other set of problems.
