Not suggested for Young kids under 5 since its pulling unrelavant videos to the kids where kids are learning bad things. If you can restrict suggestions from earlier videos will be good for young kids since they are not in state to decide what is good and bad.

Love this app so great for kids my daughter loves all she has suggested for her!

Best app ever

This app is so important to me and my family - but its limited to kids under 5. I personally love learning on YouTube with shows like Crash Course, Sci Show, Mental Floss, Kurzgesagt, PBS Space Time, Minute Physics, Numberfile, Health Care Triage, Vsauce, etc etc. Luckily YouTube has helped my daughter culture a spirit curiosity - She loves shows on art tutorials, cray tutorials, sci show kids, crash course kids, cooking tutorials, certain kid shows, etc. unfortunately she ends up on random rabbit trails, sometimes very inappropriate. The problem with YouTube kids is the young targeting and the lack of selecting content for her to watch to help guid her with approved shows. So super glad for this app - however its lacking in features. First, theres a lot of kid friendly channels Id love to see come over that currently isn there, I can search for it but theres no way to add it as a favorite or subscribe - so its useless. The ability to subscribe to a specific list of favorites for kids would be great - so they see guided options upon. Not to mention just have certain shows I want her to see get more exposure than what YouTube is suggesting. Two, there is sooooo much stuff that is targeted to kids way younger than her - she doesnt want to use the app - the favorites feature (selected by parents)would fix this. As well as an intuitive algorithm that selects age appropriate content for her - shows for her age.

Great way to keep kids occupied!

I love this app!!! I am only 10 but the videos are so my style!!! I always am on this app because every single video has my type of interest and gives me recommended videos that are really my type!!?

Great app for the kids. Love that it has its own time and when I combine it with Guided Access on my iPhone it really helps to limit usage.

My 5 years old uses it on the weekends only and i feel kind of safe, at least is more appropriate.

This is well worth it without the commercials and the slimmed down interface. My kid is 3.

My 3 Year Old Loves watching videos on this app and we got this instead of YouTube because they was bad videos and teaching her bad stuff on the regular YouTube so thats why we got this app and she plays on this app all the time and always asking for the iPad!she loves watching little kid videos and this app does not teach her to say "bad bad baby"and we love how she does not say bad things like the other YouTube!!thats why I rated this app a 5 star!

This is the best game ever nothing wrong with it.

I remember when YouTube kids was a good app and when ads were rare but today there are so many ads and you cant skip them. I just want there to be less ads.

My 4yo loves this app even though im 10 that doesnt mean i get no full access here but lately. My 4yo learns how to middle finger, throw those sharp stuffs, and more bad stuffs!!! She is even very scared of the dark!! While mom and my 4yo is gone i take a look at the phone and noticed those bad things!!! Peppa pig killing blood everywhere paw patrol killing also!!! I like the "blocking content" but atleast make an option where you can block the channels whole videos to avoid issues. My 4yo learned so many things that abuse me and my sister. And i wish this is only for toddlers not for kids. Her spirit change due to this app!! I tried to tell the truth to mom, but she wont believe me. Im also witnessing the stupid weapon " face the wall" by my mom because of her but that doesnt mean i get to learn. Its better to let this app turn to " Youtube Toddlers". Also people are complaining this issue!!!. I repeat google.. " peppa pig and paw patrol killing. Also videos taking sex and cussing." My 4yo may be calm if she plays this. But remove those contents that are only for 18 and above. Again my mom deletes this. Download, delete, again repeat

Worth it!!

Like seriously. This has helped on so many occasions where there was a foreseeable tantrum.

I think kids youtube is great because my child loves it but it is not that kid friendly because i see things that are not that nice or friendly for my child
