YouTube Kids App Reviews

It doesnt give me an option to give it 2 and half stars, but thats what I give it! It does have a lot of great videos for my son to watch, but there is a lot of inappropriate and dumb videos on here. Then the only option it give you is for you to block the channel or video or report it. Which is very annoying because you delete it on one channel then it shows up on the next one. You report it and you find one similar on another channel. I would really love an option where I can subscribe to certain channels for my son and those are the only ones he can watch. Setting up a profile for him is joke because you dont really have any control on what pop ups. You can turn off the search and turn off the history but then he cant watch the channels that I approve of and he really likes. This app should really give us parents more of an options to set up their profiles and allow what videos our children can or cannot watch.

This is just average YouTube! These kids are having nightmares now! There are horror games and inappropriate videos here. You approve the channels, (SUPPOSEDLY) and you don’t think about the fact that not all videos there will be good for kids! The settings are set to pre-school and yet, he still finds horror games, and many other terrible things. This doesn’t even work! It would be best if YouTube just made parental controls for children. This is no solution!

It has bad words no live streaming no cool videos very boring just for baby s and I have it and it’s bad

Great options for kids

The app is awesome except for 1 simple problem, Bluetooth. You can not go into full screen.

They let a video say THE B WORD to millions of little kids including my 7 year old sister PARENTS BE CAREFUL anyway it’s pretty good -1 star for bad words??

It’s good, but some words can slip through. I wish there was a feature to subscribe so you don’t have to search far and wide to find an entertaining video. I wouldn’t complain about “too many baby videos” because it says 5 & under..
