SOME CHILDRENS VIDEOS CONTAIN DISTURBING IMAGES, LIKE PORN!!! DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN WATCH!!! There are horror stories at parenting forums where some moms have caught disturbing images while their children were watching. ANY SICK PERSON CAN UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE KIDS AND SO THEY CAN EDIT AND PUT SICK IMAGES TO THE VIDEOS. So do not let your children watch youtube kids UNTIL THEY CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO SOLVE THIS HORRIFIC PROBLEM!!!

I love how its has diy and stuff but the thing I dont get is why it has a lock thingy and says grown ups only I mean kids can read the numbers?

Great for the kids

I love this! We used to play videos for our little guy on regular YouTube, which was fine, but (especially on the TV app) the ads would be out of place and not age appropriate (think horror movie promo in the middle of a nursery rhyme video). With YouTube Kids there are no more ads! Kids content is so much easier to find and weve discovered a lot of great new shows which everyone (mom, dad, AND teen brother) is happy about, since we were pretty bored with our youngests tried and true shows. Like I said, I love this app and Ive been recommending it to other parents as well as friends that babysit or have young nieces and nephews. Good job YouTube!

0 STARs! This app really fooled me when it comes to kids watching shows safely. My 2yr daughter came across creepy videos with Satan and demons numerous times with Halloween videos. I would flag videos over and over and theyd still pop up. I thought having this app would be safer than actual YouTube, totally wrong. Now my daughter is terrified of the dark and sleeping in her room thanks to video she came across. Wouldnt recommend this app. ??????????????

I am 9 years old I love YouTube kids you cant really see all kind of videos but still it is so nice u need to upload the app.

The YouTube Kids app had done it again! On Safari I went to the original YouTube buuuuuut whats bad is that Mom told me that I was too young so I downloaded the app because it has videos for kids! There are even channels like blippi or Wow! English TV and even Super Simple Songs! App Store,please leave me a review! So fun.

These questionable channels are getting through and using names that are hard to search so you cant find and block their channels. You should be able to block the channel from the video thats playing. YouTube should also be much more strict about what gets approved for the Kids app. Im at the point where I am about to delete the app. It was once a safe spot for kids to watch toy videos. Now I might as well let him use regular YouTube. Hed probably come across less creepy content that way.
