YouTube Kids App Reviews

While I really enjoy the premise of the app, as a parent it has some serious issues. Issues being, dont be misled by the title of "YouTubekids" the filtering software isnt perfect and if you are concerned about the content your child watches, it would be wise to actively monitor what is being let through. As an example, my son found videos in the theme of "five nights at Freddys" that had not only vulgar language, but extreme violence. Another video series that gets missed is the Sonic.exe which also is in the mature category. Long story short, while I recommend the app over traditional youtube, it is not perfect and as a parent, active monitoring of content will still be needed. I hope this helps.

My little one loves this app and so far the content has been great. Age appropriate.

This is awesome its great for children this way they dont have to use YouTube and accidentally type something bad!

It is so fun you can watch baby shows 5 to 9 year old and nothing inappropriate??your kids are safe and if you type in anything inappropriate it will say SORRY CANNOT LOOK UP THAt it will show that on the screen I love it you should get it for children

This app was kinda bad, that my school had to delete the app cause of a bunch of bad videos!!

Helps me monitor what they see!

The app is good but they dont give enough freedom. Like some kids dont want to watch Elmo and other baby shows but even stuff like Drake and Josh arent available. I think when you enter your age they give you more freedom. There are also too many ads. Way too many!

It always glitches out and it is basically a virus and made all of my other games not work!!!after that I couldnt play I am bread For 2MONTHS!!!!its as if its forcing me to play it!!!!!! ??????????????☠️☠️☠️☠️

Its an awesome app for kids and I truly recommend it to Parents.

Please please PLEASE take off the volume slider. My two year old knows how to turn it on blast with this, she doesnt know how to adjust the volume with the buttons on the side of my ipad and I need this feature GONE lol

This app keeps my 15 month old daughter occupied while Im busy with household chores. All hail YouTube Kids!!

My son loves this app!

I used to love this app, but it stopped working. Not sure what to do. A worm on books keeps appearing instead of video. Internet connection is strong.
