Some things are not for children but other things are. I feel like admin needs to monitor this app for carefully.

This is a good app for kids who arent aloud on YT

Its not a bad app, my son likes it. I would like to see in the parental features the ability to block videos with a certain keyword, for example "-video game" like you can on the regular YouTube app, or make the search sticky for the rest of the videos suggested. Maybe another improvement would be to select interests for the advertising. Otherwise good work!

As of the most recent update, this app is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The ability to sign in with a parent YouTube account and block specific channels and videos makes this a much more helpful utility than it was previously. I can let my preschooler watch the outer space videos he wants to without concern that he will watch anything we know he should be watching… For example, toy reviews and other commercials disguised as content. Or Barney. The major shortcomings right now are that there is no way to block a channel without searching for it by name (you cant always find them at all) and that the settings and blocks appear to be limited to the device. If I log into YouTube kids on my iPhone and block a channel, the iPad that my son uses will still let him see it. The ideal would be do you have all settings synchronized to your YouTube account, rather than locally in the app. Also, some sort of filter system whereby the parent could block all videos or channels containing a particular phrase without having to locate and block them one at a time. For example, blocking "toys review" or "finger family" or "surprise eggs."

Hi! Im 9. And I have this stupid app. It doesnt allow me to search specific things. Dont buy!!

So I just got started on YouTube kids until I found out that all this is 5 year old junk nothing a nine year old will wanna watch it does not have my fav youtubers Like super Mario Logan, alberts stuff, and try not to laugh cartoon edition. No gaming mermaid or reaction time! I almost feel like deleting this app so back to youtube I go to watch all my fav youtubers that are not on this app!! So long YouTube kids so long!!!??‍♀️??‍♀️and that when I try to search something I like its like try serching something else or shows up something different I hate this app so much that I threw my iPad on the floor boo YouTube kids booooo!!!!!!!

I really like the app but it has videos with words like shut up and stupid this is bad for me because of my little brother and he repeats the words

Im a kid and my mom wont let me watch regular YouTube so I have to watch this crap for " YouTube " and is should be for like 12 and up. I found so many inappropriate videos, like Mickey Mouse finding minnes bra. Mickey cheating on minne mouse, As a kid I recommend letting your kids watching common media sense, and asking what your child is watching. And if you think there fibbing look at there history on what there watching.

Its such a great app because at your first time opening it its like all four babies and toddlers videos but then but then for like on the 12th day when you like search I love your favorite videos on the 12th day it will have all of your favorite videos on you on your on your list do you cool youre so cool I love the app thats why I gave it five stars!

Im ten and I think this is awesome! I dont understand why its labeled 5&under when theres a school age option in the app. I can watch Denisdaily, Alex, some videos of Corl and Sketch, slime, Rebecca Zamolo, Dantdm and so much more! Its all kid friendly so my mom or dad doesnt have to worry! I love it!

Please get rid of the YEAR YOU WERE BORN sign-in feature .. I will never tell YouTube the year I was born.. and I always pick the earliest number it will let me.. and then I forget what year I said ? .. guess Ill have to write it down.. thought it was the year 1900 .. argh.. but please get rid of that.. other than that-- Thanks for the free kids app.
