Good - but still needs improvement

As of the most recent update, this app is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The ability to sign in with a parent YouTube account and block specific channels and videos makes this a much more helpful utility than it was previously. I can let my preschooler watch the outer space videos he wants to without concern that he will watch anything we know he should be watching… For example, toy reviews and other commercials disguised as content. Or Barney.

The major shortcomings right now are that there is no way to block a channel without searching for it by name (you cant always find them at all) and that the settings and blocks appear to be limited to the device. If I log into YouTube kids on my iPhone and block a channel, the iPad that my son uses will still let him see it. The ideal would be do you have all settings synchronized to your YouTube account, rather than locally in the app.

Also, some sort of filter system whereby the parent could block all videos or channels containing a particular phrase without having to locate and block them one at a time. For example, blocking "toys review" or "finger family" or "surprise eggs."
